How Clean a Dogs Ear with Dog Ear Cleaner:
- Extent the spout on the cap. Lay the dog on its side. Wipe away visible debris & discharge from the dog's ear with a cotton ball or tissue.
- Slowly pour EcoEars into the ear canal until full. Restrain the dog from shaking its head. If the dog is agitated, saturate a cotton ball and squeeze the liquid into the ear.
- Gently massage the base of the ear for 60 to 90 seconds to ensure penetration.
- Allow the dog to shake their head for as long as needed and dry the outer ear with a cotton pad.
- Give the dog a treat and repeat the process for the other if necessary.
- Treat the ear(s) twice daily for 10 consecutive days (even if the smell and discharge appear to be gone).
- NOTE: For severe cases, EcoEars may be safely continued for an extended period. Optional maintenance may be done weekly or more as needed. Do not use EcoEars with other ear products.
- Do not use on broken skin, if blood is present or on a ruptured eardrum.
